Putin: Russia to supply power uninterruptedly to China, Mongolia
BISHKEK, Jun 14 (PRIME) -- Russia is ready to ensure uninterrupted power supplies to China and Mongolia’s regions with power deficit, President Vladimir Putin told his counterparts Xi Jinping and Khaltmaagin Battulga on Friday.
“Russia is ready for tighter energy cooperation with China and Mongolia. We are interested in getting proposals from our Chinese and Mongolian partners… From our side, we are ready to ensure uninterrupted power supplies,” he said.
Russia is interested in higher coherence between the three states’ transport infrastructures, Putin also said.
“We see special importance in plans to upgrade the Ulan Bator railway corridor… (We need to) boost the throughput capacity of the railway to multiply cargo shipments from China to Europe and in the reverse direction.”
